SINGER MOLIY MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST GHANAIAN NOMINATED FOR AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

Ghanaian artiste MOLIY has made history as the first Ghanaian to receive a nomination at the American Music Awards (AMAs).

MOLIY secured a nomination in the Best Afrobeats Artist category, placing her among some of the biggest names in the global Afrobeats scene, including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rema, and Tyla.

The milestone marks a major breakthrough for Ghana’s music industry, highlighting the growing global impact of Ghanaian artistes on the international stage.

The American Music Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious music award schemes, recognises outstanding achievements in the music industry based on fan votes and chart performance.

MOLIY’s nomination not only celebrates her individual success but also signals a rising wave of Ghanaian talent gaining global attention, especially within the rapidly expanding Afrobeats genre.

The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place in May, with fans encouraged to vote as the competition heats up in one of the most competitive categories.
