President John Dramani Mahama has inspected the 80-kilometre Jinijini–Sampa Road in the Berekum West area as part of his ongoing “Resetting Ghana Tour.”
During the visit, he spent time with local chiefs, community leaders, and residents, listening to their views on the progress of the road project and its impact on daily activities in the area.
The engagement formed part of efforts to get direct feedback from communities along the route.
He noted that road infrastructure remains important for improving movement between communities and supporting local trade and economic activity.
“Road networks are key to improving access and helping businesses operate more efficiently,” he said.
The President also touched on broader economic considerations, pointing to ongoing measures aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability.
He explained that such steps are intended to support long-term development and improve living conditions.
The inspection is one of several stops under the Resetting Ghana Tour, which is designed to allow the President to assess projects on the ground while engaging directly with residents on their concerns and expectations.
