Osman’s Dutch Detour: Brighton Youngster Heads to Feyenoord on Loan

Date:

Brighton & Hove Albion’s young talent, Ibrahim Osman, is set to join Dutch club Feyenoord on a loan deal. The 19-year-old Ghanaian winger will move to the Eredivisie side without a buy option clause, allowing him to gain valuable experience and playing time.

As part of the agreement, Brighton will cover Osman’s full wages, ensuring a smooth transition for the player. The loan move is expected to be finalized this week, with Osman scheduled to undergo a medical check-up on Tuesday. Feyenoord will officially present their new signing on Wednesday.

This loan deal comes after Brighton invested in Osman’s potential, signing him from FC Nordsjaelland for a reported £16 million transfer fee in February 2024. By sending him on loan, Brighton aims to aid Osman’s development and prepare him for future success in the Premier League. Feyenoord, meanwhile, gains a talented young player to bolster their squad.
