Jordan Boateng switches to SC Kirchberg after rapid run of free transfers

Date:

German-Ghanaian winger Jordan Boateng has joined Austrian club SC Kirchberg from Bischofshofen on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old completed the move on 11 September 2026, bringing his spell with Bischofshofen to an end after just over two months. Boateng had joined Bischofshofen from FC College 1975 on 1 July, also without a transfer fee.

Boateng plays as a left winger and is left-footed. Born in Dortmund on 6 January 2005, he has Germany and Ghana listed among his nationalities.

The move to Kirchberg is the latest step in a series of free transfers during the winger’s early career. Before joining FC College 1975, Boateng spent time with Swedish club Kiruna FF, arriving there from NK Neretvanac on 25 August 2025. He had joined NK Neretvanac in September 2023.

Boateng’s most recent competitive appearances came in the 2026-27 OFB-Cup. He played twice in the competition, making one start and completing 114 minutes in total, but did not score or provide an assist.

His current campaign record also includes no yellow cards, second yellows or red cards. He has played 54% of the available minutes in the competition, with his two appearances accounting for half of the matches recorded.

Boateng’s move gives SC Kirchberg a player whose listed role is on the left side of attack and whose recent club history has taken him through teams in Austria, Sweden and Croatia. His previous transfer to Bischofshofen was completed at the start of July before he made another move within Austria.

The winger’s highest recorded market value is 10,000, although no current valuation is listed. There is no contract expiry date attached to his agreement with SC Kirchberg.

Boateng has now left Bischofshofen and completed a free transfer to SC Kirchberg.
