Ghanas Black Stars held their final session at the Stade de la Paix in Bouake on Wednesday as preparations concluded for Thursdays 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C qualifier against Cote dIvoire.
The squad travelled from Accra to Bouake earlier on Wednesday and trained at the match venue at 7pm, giving the players an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the pitch and surroundings before the opening fixture.
The Head Coach and his technical team focused on tactical exercises and other training routines during the session as Ghana made the final preparations for what is expected to be a demanding Group C contest.
All 23 players who travelled to Bouake took part in the workout. The session lasted just over an hour and was conducted under the floodlights at the Stade de la Paix, one of the stadiums used during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana will meet the Elephants on Thursday, with both teams beginning their campaigns to qualify for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. The match will serve as the Group C opener for the two sides.
