Ghanas Black Stars will leave Accra on Wednesday morning for Bouake, where they will face Cote dIvoire in a 2027 Africa Cup of Nations Group C qualifier.
The match is scheduled for Thursday, September 2024, 2026, with Ghana seeking a positive result against the hosts to strengthen their hopes of qualifying.
The squad has been based in Accra since Monday and has completed intensive preparations at the Accra Sports Stadium. Eighteen players participated in Tuesdays training session before the teams departure.
The technical team is expected to oversee a final training session in Bouake on Wednesday, one day before the match against the Elephants.
Ghana and Cote dIvoire are joined in Group C by The Gambia and Somalia. The Black Stars will be aiming to take advantage of the encounter in Bouake as they continue their campaign for a place at the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
