Goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi has shared his ambition after joining South African Premier League side Stellenbosch FC.The former Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC shot-stopper signed a long-term deal to join Stellenbosch in September 2026.Following his move, Agbasi has targeted top four in the South African topflight with dreams of also playing for the club in Africa.I feel very excited to be part of Stellenbosch FC, Agbasi said. Football has always given me a place to call home, and I feel like I am at home. Everyone has welcomed me and I feel good to be here.Im hoping to help the team get back to the top four in the league, and from there compete for the league and in the CAF Confederation Cup or Champions League in the coming seasons.Agbasi was sent to the World Cup in North America as an emergency goalkeeper following a tremendous campaign with Heart of Oak in the Ghana Premier League last season.The Phobians tried to convince him to stay at the beginning of the new season, but Agbasi prefered continuing his career abroad.Before moving to Hearts of Oak, he played a pivotal role as Dreams FC reached the semi-final of the CAF Confederation Cup in their debut campaign in Africa.
