Ghanaian defender Kojo Peprah Oppong is being linked with a move from Nice to Fenerbahce, with the Turkish club reportedly considering a transfer for the 22-year-old centre-back.Oppong joined Nice from Swedish side Norrkoping in July 2025 for 2.68m and remains under contract with the Ligue 1 club until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at 10m.The defender has yet to make an appearance for Nice in Ligue 1 this season, having been an unused player in the clubs only league fixture so far. He did feature twice at the 2026 World Cup, playing 13% of Ghanas available minutes and receiving one yellow card.The proposed move would take Oppong from Frances top flight to the Turkish Super Lig, where Fenerbahce are reported to have emerged as his potential destination. There is no indication that a transfer has been completed or that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.Oppong began his senior career with Norrkoping after leaving the De Visser Academy in 2023, spending loan periods with GIF Sundsvall before returning to the Swedish club. Nice subsequently secured his permanent transfer last summer.With three years remaining on his contract, Nice are not under immediate pressure to sell the Accra-born defender, who currently wears number 37 for the French club.
