Weija Gbawe, Ghana – July 23, 2026 – Dr. Alex Kwame Appiah, popularly known as Dr. GEWAH, has issued an official public statement firmly denying allegations that he offered money or other forms of inducement to Constituency Executives within the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In the statement, Dr. GEWAH described the claims as false, malicious, and fabricated, stressing that they were deliberately created to damage his reputation and mislead party members as well as the general public.
According to him, he has never engaged in bribery, sponsored camps to influence party decisions, or participated in any activity that undermines the principles and values of the NDC.
