Browns rookie DT Mike Hall Jr. got arrested for a domestic violence charge following a dispute with his fiancee. In CLEVELAND (AP), Cleveland Browns rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was taken into custody on Tuesday and faced with domestic violence charges after authorities reported that he threatened his fiancee with a gun during an altercation.

Police informed NFL.com that Hall, 21, was arrested on a first-degree misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. ESPN reported that a $10,000 bond was set, and a hearing is slated for Sept. 10.

The Browns released a statement saying, “We are aware of the incident involving Mike Hall Jr. last night. Mike and his representatives have been in contact with the relevant authorities. We are currently gathering more details and will refrain from making further comments at this time.”

According to ESPN, a woman who identified herself as Hall’s fiancee and the mother of their 11-month-old child said she and Hall fought over money before the incident began.

ESPN, citing a police report, said Hall held a gun to the woman’s head and threatened, “I will f—ing end it all. I don’t care.” He then ordered her to leave the house and pulled her on her back down the driveway, per the report.

The woman refused medical assistance our Sources said. When the police arrived, Hall was no longer at the residence. Hall, originally from Ohio, played three seasons at Ohio State before being chosen by the Browns in the second round (No. 54 overall) of the April draft. During the Browns’ preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers, a 23-10 defeat, Hall recorded one tackle in 29 defensive snaps and participated in three special teams plays.
