Important Update: American Embassy in Ghana Switches Visa Service Providers

Date:

The American Embassy in Ghana is transitioning to a new visa service provider on August 26, 2024. As a result, the current provider’s website and services will be discontinued on August 16, 2024. During the transition period (August 16-26), the following services will be unavailable:

New visa appointment scheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling of existing appointments

However, all existing nonimmigrant visa interviews scheduled before August 16 will remain valid, and applicants should attend their interviews as planned.

Starting August 26, 2024, the new visa service provider will take over, and applicants will need to:

Create new user accounts on the new website
Manage appointments and contact customer service through the new platform

Applicants are advised to plan accordingly and take note of the transition period to avoid any inconvenience. The American Embassy in Ghana aims to ensure a smooth transition and minimize disruptions to visa services.
