Vision FC were held to a goalless draw by former Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex on Saturday, with both sides unable to find the breakthrough despite creating opportunities.Vision dominated proceedings for large periods, enjoying more than 60 percent possession and registering five more shots than GoldStars. However, their dominance did not produce a goal as GoldStars defended resolutely and goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi made several important saves to keep the visitors level.Vision came into the game hoping to secure their first win since beating Young Apostles 3-0 on the opening day of the season. They had since suffered a defeat to FC AshantiGold 04 before drawing with Medeama and Berekum Chelsea, making Saturdays game another opportunity to return to winning ways. The hosts continued to push forward in search of the decisive goal, but GoldStars remained organised and managed to withstand the pressure. The former champions also had their moments but could not seriously trouble the Vision defence, with neither side able to turn their opportunities into a goal. The result sees Vision drop to 11th place, while GoldStars remain in the relegation zone as their difficult start to the campaign continues. For Vision, the draw extends their winless run since the opening day, despite another dominant performance in possession.GoldStars, meanwhile, will take encouragement from their defensive display and the performance of Kobi, but they remain in need of points to climb away from the bottom end of the table.
