According to the politician, Germany is ready to harvest the profits and enjoy the advantages of making the growing and use of marijuana in the country legal.
Envisioning a suitable initiative that could save Ghana from borrowing from foreign countries that have legalized marijuana, John suggested that Ghana legalizes marijuana too to contribute to the country’s growth and development.
Taking to the microblogging platform, John Dumelo wrote;
“Germany is set to make billions of Euros from taxes by legalizing marijuana. Then we will turn around and go and borrow that same money with interest for our development, forgetting that we(Ghana) grow the best marijuana in the world. Ain’t we smart?”
John Dumelo joins the long list of Ghanaians who believe the marijuana market will be impactful positively on the economy of Ghana.
In other news, Veteran actor and politician John Dumelo believes politics is a calling.
He thinks one has to be called before they venture into it. He made this disclosure while speaking with Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) on Y 97.9 FM on the ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ show.
“Politics is a calling, you have to be called before you can venture. it has a lot of demands and it is an experience no one gives you,” he said.
John highlighted how mindful he is about people and things he believes will help the country improve when asked about his characteristics after being ‘ordained’ into politics.
“I think about the people, Ghana, and what to do to make the people feel better”, he said.
