Ghana Women’s Premier League champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, have arrived in Egypt ahead of the replay of their game against Edo Queens.

Ampem Darkoa and Edo Queens will play the 30 minutes of extra time in the WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers after their penalty shootout result was nullified.

In a letter addressed to both clubs, CAF referenced the WAFU Zone B qualifying final played on 5 September 2026 and the subsequent decisions of the CAF Organising Committee for Women’s Football dated 26 September 2026 and the CAF Appeal Board dated 16 October 2026.

According to CAF, the match will resume from the start of extra time with the score at 2-2, with two periods of 15 minutes to be played, followed by a penalty shoot-out if the score remains level.

The Ghanaian side have arrived in Egypt for the encounter to be played in Cairo this week.

The winner will stay in Egypt to participate in the main CAF Women’s Champions League tournament.
