Ghana midfielder Ronald Donkor is a major doubt for the Black Stars upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against The Gambia, head coach Carlos Queiroz has confirmed.The Black Stars will host The Gambia at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday in their second Group C qualifier, with the team desperate to secure their first points of the campaign after suffering a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Ivory Coast in Bouak.Speaking after Mondays final training session, Queiroz revealed that 22 players are fully fit and available for the crucial encounter, with Donkor the only player whose participation remains uncertain due to an injury concern.We just finished the training session. I can announce that we have 22 players ready to play tomorrow, Queiroz told reporters.The only player still in doubt is Ronald Donkor. He had a light training session today, and hopefully hell be on the bench for tomorrows game, he said.Otherwise, the others trained normally and are in great condition and shape. We are ready for the game tomorrow.Donkors potential absence would be another concern for Queiroz as he prepares his team for a must-win encounter against The Gambia.The Black Stars will also be without experienced defender Alexander Djiku, who has been ruled out after suffering an injury and limping off during the defeat to Ivory Coast.Ghana currently sit bottom of Group C following their opening-day setback and will be aiming to quickly turn their fortunes around against The Gambia.With qualification hopes already under pressure, the Black Stars need a strong response on home soil as they bid to secure a place at the next Africa Cup of Nations after missing out on the previous edition in Morocco.
