Ghana Premier League outfit Karela United have announced the signing of defender Frank Ackom.The club has been busy in the transfer market in the last few weeks, negotiating various deals as part of efforts to strengthen their squad ahead of the start of the 2026/27 football season.On Friday, the club, via a social media post, announced that they have sealed a deal with lower-division side Nsuapon Fidelity to sign defender Frank Ackom.OFFICIAL: Frank Ackom joins Karela United. Karela United FC (@KarelaUtd_FC) August 14, 2026The defender, who has been training with the Premier League club for a while, was in action for the side on Wednesday when they defeated Berekum Chelsea in the Sompa Invitational Cup.According to sources, he signed a two-year contract to complete his move to the Tamale-based club.
